Christmas Table Runner in Process, and New Round at the ORBC.

I've been working on a Christmas table runner, so I thought I'd share how it looks so far.  Since I added the red border today, it's starting to look more Christmas-y.  I designed it to fit on our dining room table still leaving room for the placemats.  The top is essentially finished now, so quilting is next.

In other news, The Old Red Barn Co. Quilt Along is starting a new round.  This time it's dresdens - scrappy dresdens!  It should be fun.  You can join any time if you like!!  And links to all the previous rounds are still there, too. It's a great group and I have learned alot there.  There's a button in the sidebar.

Halloween Mug Rugs going and coming

My mug rug for the Scrappy Mug Rug Swap is completed and the extra goodies are all ready to go off to their new owner.

Meanwhile, someone else has been busy and made one for me!  Here is what arrived in my mailbox today:

Isn't it cute?  I love all those happy cats.  Mee-oww!
And she also sent an extra little cat mug rug!  Perfect for tea at the computer in the mornings!

Halloween Swap Mug Rug

The Scrappy Mug Rug Swap on flickr is doing Halloween/Fall this round and this is the little mug rug I am making for my partner.   Happy pumpkins and bats!  Still needs binding and the it's ready to package and send on it's way . . . but I can't say to who - it's a secret swap ;)
