Mermaid Circus - One Week In

The Mermaid Circus is underway!  So far I have created the shaped artists book and three mermaids.  This weeks lessons have been from Teesha on collage.  SO much fun!

Mermaid Number One  I went with hot pink for the first one.  Found the pink in a magazine ad and that inspired me!

 

 

Mermaid number two.  This one is drawn - no collage.  I wanted to draw that night.

Mermaid Circus

The second round of the Mermaid Circus is getting underway.  Jane Davenport and Teesha Moore are leading this course, so you know it's bound to be lots of fun! This afternoon I have been getting my pages prepped for the shaped journal.  Here they are all painted and ready to bind.

 

These are painted with acrylics - some heavy body and some Golden Fluid acrylics (love those!).  Laying out to dry on my work table.  Once bound they will await the next steps!
